There is tremendous enthusiasm among the farmers. Many young farmers take park in this protest. Many kilometer lines of tractors found on the road.
The farmers bring raw material for preparing their food with themselves. Few farmers are claiming they have brought sufficient raw material for 6 month so that they can prepare the food by themselves without depending on others and continue the protest till justice.
While many farmers are still trying to enter in Delhi so that they support this protest.(Farm Bill 2020: Farmers Reached Delhi)
These farmers are now protesting at the Nirankari ground as this ground is allotted by the government. While these farmers are demanding for the Ramlila Maidan or Jantar Mantar so that the other farmers can join them in this protest.
The main reason behind this is that the Ramlila Maidan or Jantar Mantar is in Center part of Delhi from where they can pressurize the government easily that's why protesters always demand for the Ramlila Maidan or Jantar Mantar Maidan.
Manish Deshpande, Social Worker from Pune, who marched from Madhya Pradesh to Delhi Said, While marching towards Delhi, faced lots of issues but still we will fight till the demands of farmers will not be accepted by the Central Government.
The farmers are preparing their food by themselves. Delhi State government is helping and providing facilities to the farmers, he added.
The Central Government decides to meet all the farmers' leaders on 3rd of December 2020 to discuss all the issues the farmers have.
Other state farmers are also marching towards Delhi and likely to join this protest soon.
Main Demands by the farmers:
- MSP ( Minimum Support Prize ) should not be eliminated.
- Elimination of Contract Farming
- Inclusion of MSP in the Farm Bill 2020
